Cat’s extensive career in marketing, sales and business development ranges from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies. Strong in both B2B and B2C marketing and sales strategies, she has a track record of adapting quickly to new market opportunities, and knack for identifying and leveraging disruption. Cat has directed several multi-million-dollar marketing and sales organizations as well as building and selling an experiential/new media marketing agency. Cat has also developed flexible sales and marketing processes that are used by many global organizations to systematically and quickly gain traction with stakeholders and customers. Cat has an educational background in mass communications and theatre, and a real-world business education from being a serial entrepreneur, working with business incubators, and learning from highly successful mentors.

Don’s career focus has been on operational gains through process improvement and applying proven technologies in SMBs and global companies. Don started his first entrepreneurial venture in 1987, founding an engineering services firm that developed patented operational technologies, selling the company in 2000. Subsequently he worked as an executive in mergers and acquisitions, focusing on operational improvements in acquired businesses. During that time Don began applying lean techniques and knowledge engineering with great success. Don works with domain experts, investors and customers applying a unique hybrid approach to develop SaaS solutions. Don is a published author and has contributed to the filing of several patents.

Kushal is an Electronics Engineer with a specialization in embedded systems and mobile and satellite communications. His career spans 18 years employed primarily in the telecommunication and media processing space. Working in both the US and India, Kushal has experience in defining and implementing best practices in software research and development for multi-national, enterprise clients. Leveraging his experience in Radio Access Network (RAN) and video and image codecs and his knack for solving previously unsolved problems, Kushal brings unique expertise and insight to the Sky Peak Technologies advisory role.

Denis Korotenko is a Senior Software Developer with 14+ years of experience building robust, secure, and scalable applications. Specializing in Android development with deep expertise in Java, Kotlin, and Jetpack/Compose, he has delivered complex mobile solutions across fintech, aviation, tracking, security, and enterprise domains. Denis has strong experience with multi-module architectures, test-driven development, advanced app security, and third-party integrations.

He has contributed to and led development on numerous large-scale projects, working with distributed teams and modern stacks including React/React Native, Python, Go, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase, AWS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines. Denis is skilled in designing clean, maintainable codebases and driving applications from concept to production, including publishing to the Google Play Store. He brings a strong architectural mindset, cross-platform experience, and leadership background from multiple team-lead roles.

I’m a systems engineer with a passion for software development and technology. I’ve worked on mobile projects for the last 8 years, and am currently a Senior Software Engineer at Sky Peak Tech. I’m also active in the tech community, giving talks and organizing events for the Google Developer Group in Guatemala.

I’m always looking for new challenges and opportunities to learn and grow. I’m passionate about building innovative solutions that positively impact the world. I’m excited to see what the future holds, and I’m confident I can significantly contribute to the tech community.

Marc Fiot is a full stack software and IoT developer with a background spanning mechanical design, product development, and embedded systems. He earned a degree in mathematics from Blinn University in Texas and relocated to Grand Junction, Colorado, where he has worked in both research and development leadership and software engineering roles. Marc has experience across early stage startups and has co founded and successfully sold a company, contributing to both technical development and business growth. His work has supported the development of innovative hardware and software systems, with contributions to intellectual property and patents. Outside of work, Marc enjoys baking bread, astrophotography, woodworking, gardening, hiking, rafting, camping, and biking.

Marshal Taylor is a full stack software developer with a background spanning data science, web development, and industrial machine design. He earned his Bachelors from Brigham Young University, and his Masters Degree in Computer Science from Utah State University. He has experience working in startups, developing critical software infrastructure for a company dealing with the physical world of manufacturing. Marshal has worked closely with stakeholders in non technical roles to explain processes and develop training. Outside of work, Marshal enjoys the great outdoors, backpacking, hiking, exploring, photography, and making music.

Jose is an expert in executing Functional, Integration, System, Smoke/Sanity, Unit, UAT and Regression Testing to ensure product stability and reliability, with a proven track record in bug management using JIRA, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical software in Agile settings.

Peyton Grattino is a dedicated Full-Time Web/App Developer with a passion for creating innovative digital solutions. A recent graduate from Colorado Mesa University, he holds a degree in Computer Science, which has provided a solid foundation for his technical expertise.

Peyton’s professional journey is marked by a strong proficiency in C++ and Python, languages that he loves working with to solve complex problems and build efficient applications. Beyond his professional skills, Peyton is also an Eagle Scout, a testament to his commitment, leadership, and perseverance.

When Peyton isn’t coding, he enjoys immersing himself in books and engaging in the interactive worlds of video games. This balance of professional and personal interests helps him stay creative and motivated in all aspects of life.

Anthony Mora is a Computer Science and Cybersecurity student at Colorado Mesa University with a strong focus on machine learning, data science, and network security. As a researcher at CMU, Anthony works on applying machine learning techniques to cybersecurity problems. In addition to his research publications, Anthony brings hands-on technical skills in Python, PyTorch, scikit-learn, data analysis, and visualization, as well as web development experience from working with his local high school to maintain their website. He is passionate about building scalable, real-world solutions at the intersection of AI and cybersecurity, and enjoys contributing to collaborative, fast-moving technical teams.

Valerie Stow is the Chief of Staff at Sky Peak Technologies. This role is integral for ensuring critical initiatives are executed efficiently, accurately, and with the highest standards of quality. This role also encompasses marketing oversight and people management. Although the tech industry is new for Valerie, she brings an extensive sales and marketing background, stellar interpersonal skills, and a knack for operational efficiency to Sky Peak Technology. Valerie excels at maximizing software implementation and usage to make day-to-day operations more effective. “I love collaborating with people to create processes and systems to make everyone’s lives easier and their workdays more productive. Watching people thrive under systems I help create, brings me great joy.”

Holly Faber is a Colorado native and has worked in the areas of social media management, content creation, and video and podcast production throughout her career. Her skills vary in this new role of Executive Assistant to the CEO, Marketing Manager, and Sales Coordinator for Sky Peak Technologies.
